DES 16 Project 1
Through this project I explored using of illustrator through drafting lines and creating 4 different color schemes of the illustrations. This illustration was a mix of fashion design and character design. Through making this figure I mainly focused on its features and its fashion (Chinese traditional wear).
I wanted to give this figure a non human like visual though the facial features such as the eyes and the floating head piece. The light source comes from the back, casting the shadows in front of the body to further give a non-human like presence.

This was my original illustration and color. A mix in use of traditional wear and fantasy elements.

this figure can be seen more human life then the other figures through the skin tone.
